Abstract

In the talk, I will begin with a quick review of the theories of analogical reasoning. I will then point out briefly — what I consider as — the physical foundations of quantum theory and will state some of the expectations from a physics-analogy based approach to the development of models for economics and finance. At the end, I will provide an outline of how economics-finance analogues of the different kinematic and dynamic quantities from physics could be explored.

Keywords: analogical reasoning, quantum theory, physical foundation, economics, finance
