IAISAE Honors for Integration of Natural and Social Sciences

International Association for the Integration of Science and Engineering (IAISAE) Honors recognize outstanding achievements in cross-disciplinary research and education. IAISAE prize and awards are open to all members of the scientific community contributing to integration of natural and social sciences. The nomination and selection procedure, involving IAISAE-appointed selection committees, guarantees their high standards and prestige.

We have established IAISAE Honors this year after two progenitors:

  1. Arthur Iberall (Natural Science), and
  2. Richard Newbold Adams (Social Science).

IAISAE will honor two scholars at the Thermodynamics 2.0 Conference. These awards will include Gold Medals and Certificates that will be handed over to the awardees by their family members. Please consider nominating an exemplary colleague for this prize! We may reach out to your nominee for an abstract or an invited talk at the Thermodynamics 2.0 Conference. Rules & Eligibility

These prizes will be given at Thermodynamics 2.0 Conference. An eligible candidate must present his/her contribution to integration of sciences, as well as submit an extended-abstract for the conference proceedings.

The award is ordinarily be awarded to a single person, but a prize may be shared by up to three recipients.

Nomination & Selection Process

A three-member selection committee will review all the abstracts accepted for the conference and short-list potential candidates on radar. This committee will carefully evaluate presentation of these candidates and recommend nominees to IAISAE.

The awardee(s) will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference. The recipients will be invited to give a talk at the following Thermodynamics 2.0 conference.

Establishment & Support

The Iberall and Adams awards are funded by a sponsor and supported by their family members. We plan to add more honors going forward.
